Suonodonne
Italia si è costituita nel 1994 come succursale del Frauenmusik Forum Schweiz (fondato nel 1982) ed è coordinata da Esther Flückiger. Suonodonne Italia, oltre a promuovere le compositrici italiane, intende dif-fondere l’attività musicale delle donne di tutto il mondo. L'Associazione spazia in stili diversi (dal passato ad oggi, inclusi jazz, improvvisazione, performance, teatro musicale etc.), organizzando festival e concerti, si impegna nella politica culturale, effettua ricerche scientifiche e sociologiche, appoggia le attività dei soci e dà suggerimenti sull‘organiz-zazione di progetti e programmi. FMF e Suonodonne possiedono due archivi con musiche di compositrici e pubblicano la rivista clingKlong (in tedesco, francese e italiano) che informa sulle attività musicali delle donne nel mondo. |
Suonodonne,
founded in1994, is a subsidiary of the Frauenmusik Forum Schweiz (founded in 1982), coordinated by Esther Flückiger. Suonodonne promotes the creative process in music by women in Italy (from the past till today, inclusive jazz, improvisation, performance, musical theatre) and improves their status within the music business. It organizes festivals, concerts, takes part in cultural policies, conducts research in the science and sociology of music, supports the activities of its members and offers advice in project planning and programming. FMF and Suonodonne run two archives with music by women composers and publish a magazine entitled clingKlong (in german, french and italian), which informes about the women music scene. |
